These terms apply when you buy from this website. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them.

Who we are

Ordering

• You must be 18 or over to order.
• When you pay, you are making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, when your payment is confirmed and we send your order confirmation.
• We sell to consumers for personal use. If you would like to buy wholesale, please contact us first.
• If we cannot supply something you have paid for, for example because of a stock or pricing error, we will tell you as soon as we can and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).
• The delivery charge is shown in your basket before you pay.
• Payment is taken securely by Stripe when you order. We never see or store your card details.
• Prices can change at any time, but changes never affect an order you have already paid for.

Our products

• Every item is made by hand, so colours, shapes and decorations may vary slightly from the photos.
• Scent is personal, and how strongly a melt fragrances a room depends on the burner, the room and the amount used.
• Photos of burners and accessories in product pictures are for illustration and are only included where the description says so.

Using our products safely

Wax melts are for home fragrance only and are not food. Always read and follow the safety label and instructions supplied with each product, and the instructions for your burner. Never leave a lit burner unattended, and keep burners and melts out of reach of children and pets.

Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only. Details of couriers, dispatch times and what happens if a parcel goes missing are on our Delivery and returns page, which forms part of these terms.

Cancellations, returns and faulty items

You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, and you have rights if anything arrives damaged, faulty or not as described. How to do this, and how refunds are made, is explained on our Delivery and returns page.

Our responsibility to you

• If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure.
• We are not responsible for loss caused by products being used other than as instructed, or for delays outside our control, such as courier strikes or severe weather.
• We supply products for domestic and private use only and have no liability for loss of profit or business.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any of your legal rights as a consumer.

This website

The content, photos and branding on this website belong to Over The Rainbow and must not be copied without our permission. We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be free from errors or interruptions.

Your information

We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy policy.

Complaints and the law that applies

If you have a problem, please contact us first and we will do our best to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page on the day you ordered.
